A small sum­ma­ry of how I did dur­ing the ses­sion. Things I did well. Things I need to keep work­ing on. Trade Reviews are part of my post-mortem but usu­al­ly I post those the next day.

My week­ly goals: 

• Trad­ing rules
  • Use SL scal­ing in case the prof­it tar­get for the set­up doesn’t pro­vide 2R for exam­ple for FA or VAA setups
  • No ear­ly exits, either hit SL or target

Hypos Played Out — DAX:

• Hypo 3, short, late-sus­tained auc­tion played out
• C TPO closed below IB and D TPO retraced to IB Low with­out clos­ing with­in for entry short
• Weak­ness From With­in IBR dur­ing E TPO as shown in the screenshot
• ASR got exhaust­ed, then ADR dur­ing H TPO

Was it the right Hypo?

• Kin­da, yes it was dur­ing 2nd DTTZ which would but it was the move of the day and thus it should’ve been Hypo 1 or 2.
• I should’ve put more empha­sis on D1/H4 Phase 4 nar­ra­tive an even though price opened 0.7xASR below val­ue, out­side range, price made a Return to Val­ue play (which was my Hypo 1 by the way but due to the open sen­ti­ment I did not want to go in on a break of IB).

Was it the right Hypo?

• Yes it was. Open sen­ti­ment, trend as well as a pos­si­ble H4 Phase 4 was in line with the hypo.

Did I take advan­tage of any opportunities?

• DAX
  • Yes, short as per Hypo 3
  • 1.2R Tar­get hit
• Gold
  • No, I want­ed to take it easy and only have one trade on

Things I did well:

• I did well to take it easy and focus on one trade

Things I need to keep work­ing on:

• Did not do well on my pre­mar­ket prep
  • I did not include Weak­ness From With­in IBR on DAX which would’ve been cor­rect due to the wide IBR implication
  • Even though I did take note of it I did not ful­ly incor­po­rate Prev. Day Exceed­ing ADR on DAX. 
  • I kin­da rushed through my pre­mar­ket prep due to being busy with work
