Hypos
- Which hypo played out and how did I hypothesize it playing out? How did it actually play out? What did the profile and price action show?
- GBPNZD
- Hypo 1
- Value Acceptance (long)
- Close within value confidently but leaving enough profit target
- Cons: LTF supply + D1 C‑Sup
- 80%
- There was no sustained auction and LTF supply plus D1 c‑sup did prove a big obstacle
- Hypo 2
- Return to Value (short)
- Bounce off D1 c‑sup within value reversing down
- Preferred: IB extension down (probably later in the session), sustained auction.
- 80%
- What happened was a failed auction instead. When price had broken out from M30 VWAP and then reversed back to this level I did not want to go with the move down due to VWAP being in the way and Value had already been accepted.
- Hypo 1
